Services to you include, yet are not limited, to:
- initial consultation at no cost or obligation
- minimum two prenatal visits including childbirth and labour preparation
- ongoing support throughout pregnancy via phone/email
- continuous support throughout labour and birth
- breastfeeding information, support, counseling and referral
- minimum one postpartum visit
- lending library
- photography at labour and birth if desired
- birth story
- assistance in unexpected circumstances with compassion and knowledge of resources
- access to a backup doula in case of unforeseen emergency
Doula Service Fees
For the above-mentioned services: $550.00 CAD.
Initial deposit of $250.00 is due upon contract signing, usually at our first prenatal visit. Also at this time post-dated cheque(s) will be accepted for the balance owing, to be paid in full by baby's due date.
Alternate payment options can be discussed.
Reduced Fee Services may be arranged, determined by individual circumstance and/or demonstrated need. Fees as low as $50.00 are available for those on government assistance, and for expectant teens.

Postpartum Doula Support
- In-home postpartum assistance with newborn care, breastfeeding, sibling care and daily household tasks is available.
Prenatal Support for Special Circumstances
Prenatal support, available for those on bedrest and needing extra help, can be arranged on a case by case basis.
Fees for Postpartum Doula Support and for Special Circumstance Prenatal Support:
- An Initial Consultation, at no cost or obligation to you, will include meeting with you (and your family) to discuss needs and how they can best be met.
- Fees are $25.00 per hour, minimum three hours per day; minimum four hours if required after 10:00 p.m.
- Reduced Fee Services may be arranged, determined by individual circumstance and/or demonstrated need.
