Lynn Strom is a mother of four grown children and grandmother of one. She loved being pregnant and giving birth. She self-educated and advocated for herself during her pregnancies and births, and has since longed to serve women during this precious time in their lives.
Lynn believes in every woman's ability to give birth, and desires to share their birthing journeys as she offers support and encouragement along the way. Her experience with women from all walks of life has deepened her understanding and compassion. This has enabled her to love folks just as they are, and support them in their informed choices. She is honoured and thrilled to help women discover their strengths and to share their experiences.
Lynn believes every woman should have a doula if she so desires, and should experience continuous support and caring during labour and birth. Her training with DONA has formalized her heart's desire to serve women and their families. She has experience in hospital and home birth, childbirth preparation, and breastfeeding support.
Lynn's doula services are available to women and their families in Lethbridge, Taber, Bow Island, Brooks, Suffield, Medicine Hat, Maple Creek SK, and surrounding areas.
