I am a mother of four grown children and Nana of one. I loved being pregnant and giving birth. During my pregnancies I learned, read, and advocated for myself. My babies were born in a rural, small-town hospital, and I have since then been drawn to loving and serving women during this precious time in their lives. Although my birth experiences were good, knowing what I know now I would have made some different decisions. While my children were young I focused on them, homeschooling, and our acreage critters and garden.  Now is the season in my life when I can focus on the mamababies who allow me to share their journey. Every mamababy has much to teach me as we walk together, and for that I am thankful!

I believe that birth is a normal, natural, physiological process, and that babies know how to be born and mamas know how to birth their babies. I also believe and know that barring any actual valid medical conditions, birth can and will take place on its own, in its own time, if mamababy are undisturbed and unnecessary medical interventions are refused. There are those times when a medical specialist is necessary to care for mamababy, and we respect and are thankful for their expertise in their environment when it is truly needed.

I believe in every woman's strength and determination, and am here to lend you support and encouragement by finding the evidence-based information you need, and assist you in achieving the birth you envision for your baby.

My experiences with women from all walks of life has deepened my understanding and compassion, helping me to love folks just as they are, and support them in their informed choices. I feel blessed to share your birthing journeys, and count it an honor and great privilege to help women discover their strengths and to share their experiences.

I believe every woman deserves to have consistent, caring support during pregnancy, along with continuous labor support and the care providers and environment she desires for her child's birth.

I have had training for and experience in hospital and home birth, childbirth preparation, and breastfeeding support, and am always continuing my learning and education.

My heart and hands are here to serve and love you as we share the journey of new life. I'm looking forward to meeting you!
